Naloxone on Construction Site

Course Overview

This online training course meets Ontario’s workplace requirements for Naloxone kits under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Ontario workplaces, especially construction projects regulated by OHSA Regulation 213/91, must have Naloxone kits available where workers are at risk of opioid overdoses. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that temporarily reverses opioid overdose effects, giving time for medical help to arrive. This course provides the knowledge and skills to store, administer, and comply with Naloxone kit regulations while promoting opioid awareness and reducing stigma.
